Summer Sunshine Stripes

Do you have colors and/or patterns that you really love and wear more often than not? I do. I made a list of the clothes I've worn so far in my postings on this blog and realized a couple of things: I love orange and yellow and I like stripes (I also seem to really REALLY like my orange Michael Kors Hamilton purse since it's shown up in so many posts). When a fellow blogger asked me to wear something striped for her link party this coming week, I thought I've probably already worn everything striped in my closet, but noooooooo...there were still plenty of items left. Here's one of my favorites for hot summer days.
Chico's cropped white denim jacket; Nordstrom's yellow and white striped tank; Loft white denim jeans
WHBM white tank under yellow and white tank
Target yellow and white wedges; Nordstrom yellow lucite bangle; Swarovski crystal ring; Michael Kors Hamilton purse
The tank has smaller stripes in the back (do they make my butt look smaller?
 Note: I said "smaller" not "small")
Coach large gold anchor necklace; Juicy Couture white and gold anchor necklace
Small starfish earrings add to the nautical look.
Liberty didn't understand why we weren't paying any attention to her. 
Look how cute I am with my short summer haircut! Please stop taking photos and play with me!

    White jeans are just about my favorite with any color, but the yellow is so pretty.
    I love how Liberty's outfit blends so perfectly with the carpeting. Thank goodness for her cute little black nose statement accessory. :)

      Thank you, Lisa. I like white jeans for the summer and even into the fall. I guess I could wear them into the winter here, too! The good news about Liberty, besides blending with the carpeting, is that she doesn't shed. The bad news is that my husband has almost stepped on her several times because she does blend so well. Another good reason to change to dark wood floors, right?

      Thank you, Suzyq. The link party I referred to is "Walking in Memphis in High Heels" which is done on Tuesdays. Isn't that the cutest name for a blog?! Wish I was in Australia right now and away from this AZ heat. I have Aussie cousins and I've never been to visit, but they travel to the U.S. a lot so we keep in touch -- that and Facebook.

    Yup, I know! My repeat offender is a particular pair of jeans (those jeans work well with everything.)
    I particularly love the painterly stripes. And look what you did with the little stripe on your sandals! Really, if it's a good idea once, it bears repeating! You look so pretty as always, and as polished and considered as can be. Always my favorite style on anyone.

    Cute outfit. I love stripes and the white jeans- so summery. Having said that- I wear my white jeans all the time. I bought a new pair in February this year and wore them right away. Just because I wanted to- and I can wear what I want.
