Mint Butterflies and Gold

If you've been following my posts, you know that I've had an infatuation with the color mint this summer. The love affair continues with the addition of a couple of summer sweaters and a new pair of shoes. I know what you're thinking: What the hell is she doing wearing sweaters in AZ in the middle of the summer?!

Both sweaters I'm showing today are very lightweight and can work in Scottsdale temperatures, but I swear I'm going to leave town soon for a colder climate. The trip to Oregon was put on hold with the arrival of Liberty Bell, our rescue Wheaten, but we're going to take her on a road trip in the near future so she can check out the mountains north of the Valley of the Sun. There she will be able to prance around under the fir trees with temperatures in the high 50s overnight to the low 80s during the day. Now that is summer sweater weather!

    Oh Heather, your mint collection is devine. I'm so loving your monochromatic mint ensemble, it is beyond classy. I love how you kept it the accessories simple (without a necklace) due to that gorgeous soft sweater. I really really want that incredible mint and gold bracelet.
    Have a wonderful wonderful time in Oregon, it's definitiely one of my most favorite places to visit. Give Liberty Bell a hug from me.

    I LOVE your mint heels! I definitely wish we had J Crew up here in Canada - I would buy those in a heartbeat!

      Thank you, Karen. I was in love with the color of them. I ordered them online from J Crew Factory. Is that something you can do in Canada, too? I don't know if they ship that far away, but maybe?

    Mmmm ... more great color combinations from you to inspire us all. And how pretty you look in the new combos.
    I've got a problematic mint chiffon, sleeveless shirtwaist blouse that I don't have a lot that goes with it. Navy is an option I hand't considered! Will play with it soon.

    You have the best accessories! I have been wanting a pair of mint shoes but every time I try them, they felt to wedding-ish. I am in love with your MK purse. I have been looking for a navy purse that doesn't look maternal looking and this one fits the bill! I may have to hunt it down.

      Thank you, Alice. It's been hard finding mint shoes this season! I found these heels and a pair of sandals, but it shouldn't be this difficult. I'm still on the hunt for a good white purse and a solid black with gold metal purse as well. If you see either of those on your hunt for a navy purse, send me an email, okay?
